Christmas Concert

Christmas Concert

The end of the Christmas term is traditionally celebrated with a concert and this year saw one of the biggest yet at Redwood.

There were 10 acts who had been practicing for weeks leading up to the event to show off their skills to friends and family. There were traditional carols sung by the whole school, performances from the school bands and singers, a solo from 1 pupil (very brave!) Silent Night performed in Makaton by the year 7’s, Fratton Park class performed a Christmas rap, 2 KS4 pupils did the first ever dance performance at a Christmas show and a performance from the newly formed Redwood Choir (watch this space!) finished the concert in a loud fashion singing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer!

Mince pies and hot drinks at the end of the concert for families were warmly received and there were happy, tinsley smiles all around.
