With the colours of Autumn changing from glossy green to burnt orange Forest School is pursued and enjoyed by all pupils at RWP
Whether part of KS3 or KS4 the pupils are experiencing a whole range of outdoor learning activities whilst absorbing the all-important vitamin D. The sun helps our bodies to make vitamin D, which has proven to boost immunity! In bush craft, the pupils have started to learn how to use a whittling knife carefully to peel back bark from branches. This exposes the trees veins which are a network of interesting patterns. We are holding a half-termly photography competition to capture some of the amazing sites in nature. This half-term has 4 categories: Technical, colour, shape and theme. The overall winner will have their photo printed and framed to take home. We look forward to sharing the winner’s entries with you.
