Vision and Values
Care
Redwood Park Academy cares, we ensure that we provide for the needs of our whole community. We encourage our staff and pupils to act with kindness and selflessness to bring out the good in one another.
Courage
We want our pupils to be courageous learners who are willing to face new situations with resilience and tenacity. We encourage pupils to develop their independence and life skills with courage to embark on the next stage of their lives after Redwood.
Challenge
Redwood park Academy wants pupils to challenge themselves both physically and mentally to find solutions to problems both in and out of school. We want our pupils to take on new activities with confidence, enthusiasm, and excitement.
Our Academy enables pupils to:
- Achieve great things
- Solve problems and become as independent as possible
- Experience the joy of discovery
- Build dreams
- Be filled with awe and wonder
- Develop self-confidence and self-belief
- Communicate effectively
Our vision is focused on ensuring that we prepare our pupils for the next significant stage in their lives, whatever that might be. It identifies what they will achieve and how we will make sure that happens.
Redwood Park Academy puts the pupils at the very core of all that we do. When we make a decision the first question we will ask is: "How will our pupils' benefit?" In creating our vision, we asked 3 questions:
- What will you see?
- What will you hear?
- What will you hear said about our academy?
